NORTHERN POKER STARS LIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2012 LEADERBOARD - WEST CUMBRIA Not only will the Northern Poker Stars Player of the Year 2012 - West Cumbria have the honour of being the winner of the title and holder of a beautiful trophy, but will also receive a seat at the Northern Poker Stars Championship. The runner-up in both the Carlisle and the West Cumbria leagues will also receive a seat in the Northern Poker Stars Championship. The player finishing in third place in each of the Carlisle and West Cumbria leagues will win £160. The aforemention prizes are subject to an event taking place each month over the year. If any events are cancelled, the Player of the Year prizes will be adjusted accordingly. Points are awarded to a player that reaches the final table at a live tournament. They are awarded as such: The winner of a tournament receives the number of points in relation to the number of entrants. For example, 52 players and the winner will receive 52 points. 2nd place receives 51 points. 3rd place receives 50 points. 4th place receives 49 points. 5th place receives 48 points. 6th place receives 47 points. 7th place receives 46 points. 8th place receives 45 points. 9th place receives 44 points. 10th place receives 43 points. If the tournament has 74 entrants, the winner will receive 74 points. 2nd place receives 73 points. 3rd place receives 72 points and so on. Only players that make the final table receive points. Carlisle and West Cumbria will have their own individual leader boards and hence their own Player of the Year.
